  My primary role is to be responsible for providing meteorological and hydrographical support to Senior Hydrographer in effective operation and maintenance of the OTML network of hydrometric monitoring stations to achieve the reliable and accurate collection, processing and publication of hydrometric data from this network. And also to support the Environment Department in terms of GIS data collection, processing, archival, manipulation, analysis, display and publication of geospatial information relevant to OTML’s operations. The position is also responsible for leading field parties. This mainly involve:1) Supporting Hydrology related programs including Hydrology Weather & Water Level Monitoring Stations maintenance & data download to ensure 90% reliability of the hydrometric network.2) Manipulate OTML’s Environment geospatial data to provide presentation of it to data users within the Environment Department, OTML, outside organization and consultants. This may include but not limited to the production of maps, data retrieval into requested formats, development of presentation, analysis of geospatial information and presentation based on that analysis. 2) Develop field data collection utility and web mapping application using available platforms provided in ESRI ArcGIS online initially for geo-chemistry monitoring program and then expanded to other programs in collaboration with GSA.4) Drone Mapping inclusive of: Setting-up Drone; Performing System and Preflight Checks; and Capturing Data, Data Post Processing using PIX4D React and generating deliverables Show less
