      Researched types of exposures to risk in forex and oil price volatility for the foreign wing ONGC Videsh (E&P). Studied on available models to find a suitable model, found ARIMA modelling of time series data for forecasts. Found that ONGC Videsh calculates profit on present value of future cash flows, this future cash flow is the price at which the extracted oil or natural gas will be sold hence volatility of oil and gas prices affects their bottom line. Concluded that since ONGC invests heavily in E&P therefore to keep upstream profitable, a model which captures volatility in oil prices will lead to good production decisions and the future cash flows will be more accurate Show less
