      Research: Hispanics’ knowledge, perceptions, benefits and barriers to the recommendations in the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, Choose MyPlate, and the Physical Activity Guidelines. Data was collected using focus groups, and I enjoyed the semi-structured group interview process and gained valuable leadership skills during the process. *Research project was selected and presented at the 2016 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo Poster Session in Boston, MA.
