  Project Manager - Afghanistan DoD RFID Program

  Managed the implementation and support for the US Department of Defense Active RFID (Radio Frequency ID) initiative in a region that included Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan. RFID is used as a tracking component in the DoD Supply Chain. The job duties included managing the contract for the installation and support for the US Military’s network of Active RFID tags and readers for the region. In addition to designing the infrastructure, managing the implementation, and managing system maintenance, I was required to brief Sr. Military Leaders, implement training programs for the soldiers and contractors, implement quality control measures, identify and mitigate risks, and analyze current business practices within the DoD supply chain in this region.
