  Directed US and Canadian government affairs, communications, issues management and food retailer teams. Utilized broad knowledge of global and domestic food policy and communication strategies to educate, advise and activate government and food-chain stakeholders on animal protein technologies, allowing Elanco to shape the policy narrative around the acceptance of those technologies by governments, trading partners and food- chain policymakers. Income statement ownership for Elanco’s #1 outside-the-US margin contributor. Developed, organized and drove business strategies that increased sales 3X in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland in 3 years. Strategically realigned a decentralized beef, dairy, poultry, swine and channel marketing structure into a centralized, cohesive marketing organization positioned to drive strategy, increase capabilities, improve quality and efficiency, and boost profits across the company. Constructed a dynamic, top-producing feedlot sales district in the US West through visionary leadership and a results-driven management style. Created strategies and executed plans for the Paylean and Pulmotil line of products through partnerships with internal multi-discipline teams and external creative and communication agencies to meet and exceed sales and revenue goals. Managed accounts in an East Coast sales territory achieving sales goals, growing market share and executing business plans with a customer base representing 25% of the US swine herd. Managed a Midwest sales territory and built on solid sales records through the engagement and penetration of key regional feed accounts.
