  I ensure optimal guest experience by seating guests, taking and entering orders, and running food. I knowledgeably present menu items and manage tables through our Point of Sale system. Each shift, I memorize our daily features to present to my tables. I excel in this fast-paced environment, being able to take on private dining parties, as well as regular table service.

  Our mission is to provide a safe space in our organization to promote future success and provide knowledge to prospective women in the healthcare industry about various healthcare professions, as well as the journey into those professions.We welcome all women of different backgrounds, points of views, and experiences. A diverse set of members fosters an essential, enriching learning environment that enhances the individuals a part of the RSO and the world around us. We collaborate across all disciplines of healthcare to ensure all of our members are educated in many specialties of healthcare, including but not limited to: physicians, physician assistants, nurses, speech pathologists, veterinarians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and more.As the founder and president of this RSO, I run and plan both our mandatory and optional meetings, coordinate with other RSOs on campus, outreach to new members, delegate tasks to the executive board members serving under me, appoint committees as needed to ensure smooth operations, ensure proper completion of mandatory paperwork, and am the primary contact for anything related to UD. Voir moins NSCI407 class (Hands-On Neuroscience) Spring 2023: The goal of this course is to integrate students' previous undergraduate textbook-based neuroscience lecture courses into an applied, hands-on laboratory experience. This lab course explores aspects of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, animal behavior, surgical techniques, and neuroscience methods. I assisted with setting up the laboratory, answering student questions, running demonstrations, cleaning up the laboratory, and providing general assistance to the academic staff.NSCI320 (Introduction to Neuroscience) Spring 2024: This course surveys the the basic sciences of the brain in relation to behavioral phenomena, including perception, memory, fear and aggression, and several mental disorders. I hold weekly office hours and assist students with reviewing/understanding material. Voir moins At the Memory and Perception of Speech Lab, our focus is how learning and memory support our perception and production of speech. Our main projects include defining how declarative and procedural memory subserve perceptual learning, how the perception and production of newly learned speech contrasts changes as a result of sleep-dependent memory consolidation, and how time of day informs the strategies that individuals use to learn new perceptual categories. I ensure complete and timely data entry into electronic data capture systems, including REDCAP, and verify the accuracy of the data.   Crisis counselor

  Crisis counselors are trained in mental health and crisis management. Counselors provide support to Texters on intense topics such as suicide, self harm, sexual/physical abuse. By using the best practices of suicidology, counselors determine if texters are at imminent risk.
