      I like combining approaches to strategic management, concepts and frameworks, and main issues in strategic planning practices. In particular, I cover the themes: internal and external environment analysis; strategic options, selection and evaluation; the relationship between strategy and organisational structure, the role of communication, culture, knowledge, technology and innovation, corporate social responsibility, international strategies, and strategic change. I use several case studies throughout the modules which provide a vehicle for exploring the relationship between theory and practices in organisations and how that relationship affects the strategies of firms. I teach with so much enthusiasm and passion and since I always appreciated humour in my own studies, I incorporate it into my daily lessons. I always encourage my students to leave their comfort zones, to push their personal boundaries and meet their potential and to take an active part in enriching the world. Show less
