  I found this part-time job post-O Levels, while awaiting NS Enlistment. It required assisting elderly to manage transference of Senior Citizen EZ Link card to Passion Card. The station is typically manned by 2 part-time staff, and we worked closely in conjunction with the perm staff, in the bus interchange. It was this job that I learnt how to communicate in various dialects to help the elderly understand the process and government initiative. It does need plenty of patience as we might be met with insults when the customers get frustrated or political. Show less

  During my holidays after A Levels, I worked part-time at Kaplan City Campus @ Wilkie Edge, for a 1 month contract, as an Exam office administrative officer. I was tasked in assisting the perm staff with any admin jobs such as managing the exam scripts, data entry, assembling exam scripts, etc.

  I worked part-time as a Grabfood delivery rider on bicycle while schooling in University. Due to the flexibility of this job, I was able to accommodate working as a Swimming Coach during my free time, since my lessons are typically 3 to 4 times per week.

  I found this job on telegram and went ahead with the training and licensing, under Devgru. It was meant to be a part-time job while schooling. I undertook 5 students, providing each a personalised private swimming lesson on a weekly basis. The learning objectives include 4 main swim strokes plus survival stroke, as they advance. I received plenty of recommendations but was unfortunately unable to fit all into my schooling schedule. I cut it during Dec 2021, when I was offered an onsite internship role at Bangkok, Thailand for 6 months. Show less

  My 6 month internship at Trinket in Bangkok, Thailand was an eye-opening and much treasured experience. I got to learn so much in the jewellery trade and applied my marketing skills. During my tenure, I picked up plenty of skills and had an amazing journey of self-discovery and cultural experience in my off hours. I was in charge of liaising with clients personally managing their orders, and also frequently tasked to run important errands such as buying stones and other components from individual vendors. I also tried jewellery design, and saw through the manufacturing process of it as our new product line. Overall, I earned valuable soft and hard skills working there and is very thankful for that opportunity. Show less
