Among many things, I had found that I have a passion for helping those in the community, of which is most realised when I am able to combine my understanding of psychology and law. Receiving an email from university offering this amazing opportunity saw me once again analysing how human behaviour and our inherent reactions can often create canyons between parties. As dispute resolution plays a pivotal role in society this course was of interest to me, where what appears to be a simple action or in action can lead to the rise of international issues. Having studied a subject on ADR in the Australian legal system I believe the opportunity allowed me to draw greater understanding of dispute resolution cross-culturally as well as interjurisdictionally. Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapist

Independent ABA Therapist for children and adolescence. Working in the home to assist children and their families to bring about positive behavioural changes through positive reinforcement. Having realised a passion for helping people; whether that be through working in customer service or legal firms, I decided to move into the realm of therapy to assist children with ASD through one-on-one therapy. Having completed my Psychology Undergraduate and with particular interest in the subjects of 'Brain and Behaviour' and 'Abnormal Psychology' the decision to complete further online courses was simple. Nearly three years on I have gained much experience and witnessed great growth through the implementation of this form of therapy. Show less
