  I had a wonderful time interning at St Leonard’s School with the commercial team. Super proud of all the tasks we got through together and really hope to do more work like this in the future! From this experience I gained commercial awareness, a heightened level of confidence, critical thinking, adaptability, and a better understanding of business etiquette and work place expectations.   Education Officer

  For one week I got an insight into what it is like to work as an education officer within West Lothian Council. I spoke with many wonderful people and gained an understanding of educational policy and how the UNCR is implemented within schools across the West Lothian cluster both within the classroom and through digital learning. The week I spent working with West Lothian Council allowed me to develop my knowledge of management and experience a management role within an educational setting. I learned the importance of many different educational documents and how the classroom experience is created in accordance with these. I took a lot from my week within the council and am very grateful for the opportunity I was presented with. Show less

  CATWALK Charity Fashion Show

  Head of Sponsorship

  A student-led charity fashion show, and the largest one here in St Andrews.Being head of sponsorship has given me the opportunity to take charge of the charity auction that will take place at the end of our show, and the ability to create relations with companies external to St Andrews. I am able to oversee and manage those who are also in the sponsorship sector of the society.

  EmpowHer is a wellness and fitness society based in St Andrews. Within this society I assumed the position of small group leader which enables me to oversee the organisation and running of weekly small group workouts which sees up to 9 groups of 10 students.This position has given me the opportunity to think outside of the box in order to communicate effectively with each group, and create multiple weekly workouts that are inclusive and accessible for all. Within the EmpowHer society I founded the EmpowHer podcast which focuses on all things health and wellness. It is an extremely relaxed weekly podcast which centres around mental and physical wellbeing.
