At Loon Lake/Red Earth exploited Slave Point and Granite Wash pools adding 1.5 mmboe of reserves by drilling and water flood optimization. Additional responsibilites included budgeting and corporate reserves management and lead technical aspects of $710mm corporate sale to ARC Resources.

  Lead a team of 9 Exploitation Engineers and Geologists focused on delivering per share growth by capital planning & execution, M&A evaluation and financial modelling, new play development in addition to reservoir engineering, budgeting and corporate reserves. Transacted on >$110mm (2600 boepd) of acquisitions while directing annual capital budgets of up to $85mm resulting in 4 year compound annual growth rates per DA share of 60% on cash flow, 20% on production and 10% on 2P reserves.Initially a private company, Gear became a TSX listed issuer in November 2013, subsequently raising $63.5mm in new equity and executing a significant $85mm acquisition growing to > 7,000 bopd.
