      • Created the website http://www.pordentrodaafrica.com (without any financial support) dedicated to cultural and social issues in Africa that achieved a huge impact with more than 500,000 followers on Facebook. The primary aim was to share diverse perspectives and information from Africa, conveyed through African voices. Over the years, I have gathered hundreds of interviews during my field visits and through interactions with Africans and scholars who study the continent.• Organized a dynamic portfolio of projects and created campaigns focusing on human rights and women’s rights like the 2016 calendar about Female Genital Mutilation to support the work of the Somali nurses in Kenya. • Wrote and edited 100s of articles and some of these articles were licensed for Brazilian textbooks.• Developed stories and content ideas for coverage in countries like Angola, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Namibia, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Togo, Mali, Libya, Tunisia, ESwatini focused on human rights, activism, migration, refuge, arts, History. • Addressed accuracy, consistency, and appropriateness of materials, including researching, writing, editing, proofreading, and posting web content in partnership with about 20 contributors. • Edited a podcast dedicated to African Studies with the institutional support of my University (ISCTE-IUL) and more two colleagues. In the first season, the podcast reached more than 4,000 listeners in 47 countries. Show less
