      Led and managed an organization of 675 Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians organized into six subordinate entities, with $12 million in equipment and an annual budget of over $500,000. Responsible for training all Infantry Center Soldiers on light infantry weapon systems; small arms, light and heavy machine guns, anti-armor weapons, mortars, sniper systems and convoy live fire training. Also responsible for managing seven UH-60 helicopters which provided all Infantry Center flight support. Developed senior Afghan leaders to think and act with a strategic vision, and facilitate the decision making process by the Minister to ensure U.S. and NATO equities were represented. Responsible for planning the recruiting, training and fielding of all Afghan Army and Police forces, ensuring their integration with coalition forces, during the surge growth period of 2009. Led current and future operational planning, force management/integration and force protection efforts. Conducted detailed planning and coordination with the staffs of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), NATO, USCENTOM and the DoD Joint Staff.
