  My day to day responsibilities include : Prepping my mixing board for daily use, checking microphone and ifb lines (hard and wireless), mixing and eq-ing a live show with a variety of elements including multiple host positions, SOT and music. Coordinating live hits with a second unit in California and establishing and maintaining a connection via phoneline to give access to our talent's mics and ifbs to the second unit.Other tasks include setting up mics and lines for a live event, mixing live events, patching audio lines throughout the building (for mics, ifbs, partyline or any audio), setting up and striking wireless transmitters/recieversThis position was a particular challenge for me in the beginning because of a personelle issue that left me as the most senior audio person on the team only two weeks after I had been promoted. Because of this, this position required a large amount of independent work, but also independent learning for many of the aspects of my job.
