With responsibility for the safe operation of the digestion,Clarification and Plant Services departments to meet Almatis Burnside's production targets. Cover Role as required (step up for Production Manager when absent).The production manager is responsible for delivering the production plan and oversees the safe operation of the Powerhouse, Digestion, Clarification, Precipitation and Calcination departments. The shift superintendents also report in to the production manager. This is a key leadership role within the Almatis Burnside organisation structure. A major focus of this role is to manage people and systems to achieve the best possible outcomes while meeting safety, environment, quality and cost targets. The Superintendent is responsible for delivering plan outcomes and “locking in” sustained improvement activities.
