  Assistant Professor of Science & Online Faculty September 1994 – Present• Spearheaded the creation of Ocean County College’s first fully virtual lab-based Anatomy and Physiology and Biology courses, leading our school to be one of the first community college in the Northeastern region of the U.S. to have lecture and lab directed via distant learning• Improved student engagement and success by creating pre-recorded lectures and labs to engage our geographically dispersed and diverse student body • Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials for the following courses Human Anatomy and Physiology I, Human Anatomy and Physiology II, General Biology I, General Biology II, and Principles of Science touching the lives of over ten thousand students • Enhanced the learning environment by creating the first set of synonymous Master Courses for Anatomy and Physiology and Biology to include new up-to-date material for remote learning while saving students ~$400 on course materials and increasing student enrollment• Keep abreast of science and technological advancements to ensure all course content is relevant and applicable through avid research of literature, leveraging my network, and participating in conferences•Subject Master Expert (SME) for the revision of the Anatomy & Physiology courses.•Academic Integrity Policy Revision subcommittee•Mentored new e-Learning Adjunct•Mentored Adjunct Faculty during Remote Learning •Anatomy and Physiology Course Captain•Anatomy & Physiology Subcommittee Chair•Academic Tutoring•Worked on the implementation of an OER (Open Enrollment Resources) Laboratory Manual as to safe costs to our students.
