  -Production Lead Time was reduced from 1337 hours to 983 hours for a component manufactured by die casting using concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Automation, Supply Chain Management and Human Resource Management.-Designed a Value Stream Map for the current and future state to estimate the lead time and recommendations which led to the reduced lead time.-Developed a detailed cost estimation and the cost savings were quantified with a payback period of 5 months.

  -Reducing the number of rejections due to a machining a component APD 286 using DMAIC methodology.-Increasing the sigma level from 3.69 to 4.11 with available resources and without incurring any additional expense.-Rejections were brought down by Process Failure Mode Effective Analysis(PFMEA), Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Chart and Statistical Concepts.
