      Gorgon LNG ProjectThe $60 Billion Gorgon Project is situated in an A-Class nature reserve off the north-west coast of WA. The LNG facility comprises a three train LNG Plant capable of producing a total of 15 MTPA using APCI liquefaction technology and includes a 300TJ/d Domestic Gas processing and compression plant. The selected offshore supply configuration is to supply the feed gas for the facility from the Gorgon and Janz fields► Hands on role where I was responsible to lead, manage, coordinate and supervised teams of engineers, contractors and supervisors across site construction plans and defined project scopes in line with safety obligations and schedules.- Civil and Underground Package (>$3 Billion)Executed under the CUG work package, it includes installation of civil and concrete works, underground services, drainage and waste system, and miscellaneous paving works for three LNG Trains, three AGRU Trains, three CO2 Compression Trains, five GTG units, four Ground Flares, Gorgon and Janz Inlet Facilities, Utilities System and MOF Causeway.- Miscellaneous Civil & Buildings Package ($600 Million)The package includes a range of temporary and permanent works across the LNG plant site and Off-plot items. Main scopes were civil works to support ongoing site operations; temporary earthworks to support heavy lift operations, civil and underground related scope, installation of miscellaneous buildings, turnover facilities, and road sealing works.- General Services Package ($200 Million)This package was to execute unidentified scope of works which were not included in the pre-defined overall project scope. The contract comprises the provision of multi-skilled work force and equipment by the contractor to perform activities such as construction, commissioning, design and fabrication of materials, project support activities, and maintenance activities.       Oyu Tolgoi (Copper-gold) Underground Project - MongoliaThe Oyu Tolgoi Gold and Copper Mine (owned by Oyu Tolgoi LLC, a joint venture between Rio Tinto and the Mongolian government) is located in the South Gobi region of Mongolia,approximately 550 km south of the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar (UB).Jacobs Engineering was contracted to provide EPCM services for the phase II facilities for OyuTolgoi’s Underground Project. The large copper-gold deposit is planned to be mined from underground utilising mechanised block cave methods. The underground portion is expected to produce 90,000 tonne per day of ore.► Fast paced position where I provided project management duties from early development phases for a number of packages, main scopes included:- Oyut Camp IIResponsible for the establishment of tender packages, tender evaluation and award, ongoingmanagement of procurement, fabrication, logistics and installation of all associated components. The 3-storey accommodation buildings are designed to house 5,500 people, it is made up of pile foundations, precast concrete structures, modular buildings, switchyard and substations. Services include electrical and data cables, piping services, tie-in of electrical infrastructure to existing main substation area, and furniture.- Freight ServicesEstablished freight delivery services from various suppliers in China, Switzerland and Poland to the Oyu Tolgoi site in Mongolia, determine trans-border transport routes and customs clearance requirements.
