  INCOROM is a private company that is specialized in software maintenance, web design, networking, and IT support. 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦: Here I've learned a lot about teamwork through working with other members of staff to design a website for a client. I had to work with other developers and with the customer to ensure the end product was effective and met the end-user requirements.𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: I communicated with colleagues face-to-face, via email, telephone, and online meetings.𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: In this position, I had to research and learn a lot of new programming languages (HTML, PHP, SQL, CSS, BOOTSTRAP) and methodologies (Agile) very quickly. I enjoyed the experience of gaining new skills and then utilizing them to see a professionally developed website for our customers. Show less

  Student Ambassador

  In this role as a student ambassador, I had to work with new cultures. I was required to work with students from different parts of the world, and we would help students to settle in and help with any questions that they might have regarding University Life. Through this experience, I developed the following skills;𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: I had to communicate very good with other people. This required me to be positive, polite, friendly, and to be responsive to different cultures.𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Through traveling and arranging events, I gained the ability to manage my own time effectively and plan for others.𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: In this position, I was involved in organizing different activities like movie nights, tournaments, and board games for students. This involved creating and planning events to attend and opportunities for us to get together.𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦-𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠: Occasionally participants would have issues that I would help with, and I was able to approach them in a positive and friendly way.   Luxoft is a digital transformation services and software engineering firm providing bespoke IT solutions that drive business change for customers globally. The services provided are Personalized Software Development, Applications Support, Product Engineering, and Testing. Through this experience, I developed the following skills;𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: I learned a lot about teamwork through working with my team members and other developers to achieve a common goal. Despite being under pressure on some occasions, my team and I were able to achieve the committed velocity every Sprint.𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠: Having to develop a new reinitialization tool for the Operating System improved my decision-making skills.𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: By having the chance to conduct some of the Daily Stand-Ups, I was able to enrich my communication skills. Also, I was required to work with other developers from around the globe to keep them updated on the newest changes.𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧: In this position, I had to research and learn a lot of new scripting and programming languages (Bash, ZSH, C) very quickly. I enjoyed the experience of gaining new skills and then utilizing them to see professionally developed tools for our clients.𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Having to plan with three months ahead, break the task in User Stories, then estimate the User Stories in Story Points made me sharpen my time management skills.𝐂𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫-𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡: Being able to facilitate some Refinement Sessions with the Product Owner and the clients increased my pro-active customer-oriented approach.𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Each time that I start a new task that involves a new feature or to fix a bug, I would always try to think of the best architecture that would make the program run with fewer resources and execute more rapidly.
