  I joined PwC as an undergraduate business placement student on the ‘Building Digital Trust’ scheme in September 2015. As such, I spent the majority of my time with the firm delivering on a wide range of Risk Assurance engagements, specialising within the fields of Cyber Security and Controls Assurance.Projects include:- A number of IT General Controls reviews for several large private sector entities. This included client site visits around the UK to perform the in scope testing.- An internal audit review of the design and operating effectiveness of a public sector client’s approach to achieving PCI DSS compliance, assessing its design and the effectiveness of key controls.- A Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) ITGC review for a large pharmaceutical client.- A number of cyber security maturity gap assessments and internal audit reviews for a range of different clients both from the private and public sector.- A number of business development endeavors with PwC’s Cyber Security and SAP teams around creating efficiencies and building on the growing go-to market propositions.
