  My research team and I worked alongside our faculty mentor to research a correlation between between neighborhood crime rates and women’s use of self-protection devices within these neighborhoods. Helping students further their public health careers and assisting in strategic course planning. During ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, my university began administering SARS-CoV-2 tests to ensure the well-being and safety of faculty, students, and staff. BYU’s Public Health department called for students within the major to help administer these tests during this time. I helped test several students and communicate our results to data collectors.

  Currently oversee all quality initiatives at our organization and partner with local healthcare workers to improve care for all pediatric patients in Arizona. The Quality of Care program is home to one of the first Pediatric Prepared Emergency Care programs in the nation, with the aim to provide certification for hospitals in Arizona to recognize their preparedness to stabilize or manage pediatric emergencies. Provided support for multiple programs by processing referrals, collecting data, creating media for external communication, writing reports, and more.
