      I assisted with and taught a free "Science in the Summer" program to large groups of children at local libraries. I also helped to prepare several hundred take-home kits for the kids and ran an optics table at the museum's annual Star Party.

      My primary responsibility was to train and handle Parkinsonian rhesus macaques to collect and analyze data regarding novel deep brain stimulation paradigms. I also worked with Tekscan and MATLAB, prepared histological samples, and managed a team of undergraduate volunteers. I assisted in the preparation and maintenance of laboratory spaces for experiments involving Parkinsonian non-human primates. I was also responsible for ensuring all safety protocols were followed and that all necessary equipment was stocked and in good repair.
