I ensure the program's compliance with applicable laws and regulations and NAEYC accreditation standards. Serve as a member of the firm's childcare committee assisting in developing policies and procedures for the Center.   For over 30 years, I have been an enthusiastic leader and advocate in the field of early learning, education and administration. During my career, I managed the first on-site early learning program for a law firm. I was instrumental in the design and development of the current location. In addition, the program has achieved continuous accreditation through NAEYC since 1995. I have been and am currently an advocate for quality learning programs as well as access to these programs. Over the years, I have served on many committees working towards these goals; most notably, the School Readiness Panel, The Program Quality subcommittee of the State Early Childhood Development Coordinating Council, and the Low Income Investment Fund Advisory Committee. As co-chair of the Program Funding & Compensation Committee for Under 3 DC, I was recently appointed to the DC Council of the Whole ECE Equitable Compensation Task Force.Supporting leadership development is something that I am very passionate about and committed to. Serving on the Professional Learning Community Panel for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, I have had the privilege of developing and facilitating four series of PLCs; three on leadership and one on communication.
