  I lead the PEAK 2.0 program in partnership with the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services, which aids 215 nursing homes across Kansas to adopt person-centered care practices. On an annual basis, I coordinate in-person program training, conference training within the state and nationally, virtual meetings with participants, development of educational materials and newsletters, assistance with strategic planning, and approximately 180 evaluations both virtually and on-site across the state of Kansas.On campus, I instruct an Introduction to Gerontology course with an average enrollment rate of 55 students. The course is interactive and incorporates inter-generational learning. I also have an active research agenda with multiple publications and national conference presentations. Show less
