  MTech Project under the guidance of Dr M Banu, Scientist, catalysis and Inorganic Division, CSIR-NCL, Pune. I worked on synthesising Ordered mesoporous carbon supports on to which metals are loaded, and whose activity was tested for one-pot glucose conversion to ethylene glycol. The reactions were carried out in highpressure stainless steel batch reactors.
