In accordance with Parent Heart Watch,* SCA is the #1 killer of student athletes.* SCA contributes to the #2 medical cause of death under 25.* SCA is the leading cause of death on school campuses.* 1 in 300 youth have an undetected heart condition that puts them at risk for sudden cardiac arrest.Like many, SCA has taken the life of someone close to me, however, it doesn’t have to be that way. Through the use of leading edge technology we, at WhoWePlayFor, will continue to prevent SCA by reducing ECG exam costs and make ECG expert level exam interpretations more readily available for all students athletes in the United States and the world.
