    • Rural Payments Agency

      Nov 2012 - now

Following relocation of the organisation, I moved into Operations Central Delivery Team in February 2014. Within this role I take responsibility to liaise with claims processing units across the country to identify and resolve a number of technical issues to ensure teams have effective resources, systems and workloads in order to ensure claims completed ahead of Key Performance Indicators for the agency, taking proactive steps to ensure any issues encountered do not affect these targets. I actively contribute to monthly planning meetings in which we determine strategies to ensure the agency remains ahead of Internal and external KPI'sMy actions within this role have had a direct effect on the agency achieving record results for the most recent payment values and the agency currently operating ahead of monthly Key Performance Indicators for validated claims. Show less I undertook responsibility to manage a team of 8-12 people in assessing customers accounts to determine debt or credit positions. Within this I oversaw the completion of all aspects of the process within my team, from initial assessment, balancing/invoicing of the accounts to contacting the customer to inform them of any discrepancies. Utilising my previous experience, I took on the initial training for the unit, ensuring all members were fully equipped with both skills and knowledge to undertake their role effectively. This resulted in the cleansing of over 10,000 customers accounts, reducing the workload by around 85% in cases with outstanding debt holds on the first day of the payment window for the organisation.
