      OEM Chrome Wheel Exchange Manager

      AMPS was a chrome plating facility that began to include aluminum wheels. I was hired to develop relationships with automotive dealerships as well as independent tire retailers to offer a chrome OE wheel exchange. I was responsible for managing a wide inventory of cores and developing a system of serial numbers to track where the wheels came from and who they were sold to.

      I began working with Heafner Tire (Original company before migrating into ATD) as a wheel specialist. I was responsible for managing $300K of inventory and increased sales from $440K/year in 1996 to $1.7M by 2000. I received several sales achievement awards and built my customer base by becoming the "Go-To" when retailers needed applications information or to diagnose ride complaints, even when the installed products weren't supplied by us. During this time, I developed and patented the Wheel Fit(TM) tool that has now been sold for over 11 years and in 5 countries. Show less

      History:WheelWorks, Inc. was started in 1999. We manufacture the Wheel Fit and next generation GRYPR System tool for tire and wheel fitment. It has grown to encompass TIA ATS and TPMS Certified training and a proprietary WheelWorks, Inc. Custom Wheel Training program. Wheel Fit:I received the patent on a tire and wheel test fit tool that is now marketed as the Wheel Fit(TM). It will simulate most any wheel from 14"x6.5" to 28"x16" to determine the biggest tire and wheel that will fit without rubbing. It fits most 4, 5, 6 and 8-lug vehicles using optional accessories.Training:In addition to this, I have created a college type curriculum for Custom Wheel Training. The training includes 100 level to 400 level courses with proprietary materials rarely found in our industry. As a TIA ATS Certified Instructor, I provide training services to independent, corporate and automotive dealerships. The combination of these two separate, but related, fields gives me the unique ability to provide real world scenarios that help to increase profits and lower risk for my clients. I can tailor programs to meet your specific needs. Business Development Consulting:In addition to industry training, I provide business development consulting. This isn't an overpriced "You're doing everything wrong" speech. I've taken my years of business development and BNI training and have applied it to the automotive repair industry. I can show you how going beyond your local Chamber of Commerce can produce measurable returns on investment and how I worked with a client to produce nearly $400,000/year in increased sales with only 3 rural locations.Expert Witness:I have been called on in a number of cases to determine root causes of crashes for both plaintiffs and defendants.       AutoWare Technologies was the original developer of the virtual wheel imaging software. I was responsible for software sales as well as providing onsite tire and wheel training to automotive retailers throughout the US. During this time, I was asked by SEMA to help write the Custom Wheel & Tire Specialist (Z5) exam along with other industry professionals, including Kevin Rohlwing, Sr. V. P. with TIA. I later went through TIA Advanced ATS and TPMS Level 400 certification to become certified to train a trainer. These combined skills and hands-on experience allowed me to provide a premier training program that is unmatched in the tire and wheel industry. Show less

      Discover Rims to Rent was a startup rent to own wheel and tire retailer based in Salt Lake City, UT. I was responsible for developing a complete tire, wheel, equipment and sales training program to meet Federal regulations for franchising purposes. I created a college type curriculum that spanned from 100 level to 400 level courses. The courses included proprietary WheelWorks, Inc, materials and Tire Industry Association ATS and TPMS certified training as well.

My role involved business development and sales. I was also instrumental in developing a TREAD Act compliance protocol for supplying door placard labels with adjusted air pressure requirements.
