  I have done an internship at Bajaj Auto Ltd. under the department of manufacturing engineering and hence have a good knowledge in production and assembly line. My projects included:1. MHS/MES: Material handling of parts on the shop floor. This involved tracking down the source and destination of every part and its mode of transport.2. Change Management: Studying reports to understand all the changes made to a particular part, preparing presentations, and conducting trials.3. Vendor Audit: Conducted an audit on a silencer assembly line to verify whether all aspects such as: inward, process, inspection systems, etc. are as per requirements.4. Production capacity: Calculated the production capacity of child parts of silencer assembly. Visited all vendors to study the manufacturing process of all parts and calculated the output/hour and shift of each part. Show less
