  As Senior Cost Engineer, I maintained the overall responsibility for the project earnings process. I supervised a group of 2-5 cost engineers, ensuring that all project reports (30-40 at any given time) are published to corporate headquarters in a timely and accurate fashion. Daily responsibilities include:• Ensuring independent job status review, specifically schedule, contract terms, risks, budgets and forecasts• Updating the monthly business unit risk/reserve sheet, which summarizes potential risks and earnings enhancements within the Seattle Main and Seattle SPD Business Units (BUs)• Managing outstanding claims reports within the BU• Managing positive relationships with accountants, cost engineers, superintendents, project engineers, project managers and project executives, as well as the general manager, operations manager, and financial manager• Attends all project IOR, ORM, 1A, and 1B meetings• Serves as general BU resource for Prolog instruction• BU Trainer for Cost Management Class• BU Subject Matter Expert for cost in transition to SAP• Turner SAP Operations Training Lead Show less Site Superintendent for a 4-story, 380,000 SF office building and garage project, which included an auditorium, a cafeteria, an exercise facility and support spaces to improve the working environment for Nintendo employees. Project scope also included the demolition of 6 buildings prior to construction. Turner self-performed the concrete, doors and hardware and misc. specialties package and installation of demountable office partitions. The project achieved LEED NC Gold certification. As Site Superintendent, I provided the following services: • Provided all site logistics and site planning for a 9.98 acre site• Managed demolition, mass excavation, utilities, structural excavation, hardscaping and landscaping onsite, and landscaping for a 1.6-acre green roof• Updated schedule regularly• Coordinated field activities among multiple trades• Coordinated with City of Redmond inspectors• Verified subcontractor billings• Managed tower crane schedule• Identified Lean practices to improve field effectiveness• Used the 6 Sigma principle to minimize construction variables to work toward a predictable outcome, achieving a quality project that was delivered on-schedule and under-budget• Used 5S principles to eliminate wasted time and resources (i.e. by organizing the site, sorting out unneeded supplies or tools, placing regularly-needed tools in convenient places, labeling items and tools, providing materials signage and loading zones, etc.)• Managed over 2 Million gallons of discharged site water, and completed regular water monitoring tests for monthly submission to King County and the Department of Ecology Show less As Cost Engineer, I assisted in managing project budgets with a total volume of approximately $300 Million. I taught Business Unit Cost Management Classes, served as Security Administrator for the Prolog Application Suite, and acted as National Lead for training staff to use the Automated GC Monitor Application. In this role, I taught over 150 users across the country how to use this complex software as standard project practice, improving overall efficiency in tracking costs and developing more accurate cost forecasts in real time.
