I specialise in building and growing green brands through creating business concepts, connecting ecosystem partners for scaling and developing green initiatives for businesses and projects. In her previous role as an intrapreneur working for the government of Singapore, she developed numerous green initiatives, adopting innovation for the built environment.Project highlights• An on-site Waste-to-Energy (WTE) plant that recycles horticulture waste into energy and biochar, the former to power zero-energy buildings, and the latter as horticulture amendment to be used in the park where the plant is sited. The system also recycles thermal energy from the plant to provide chilling for indoor cooling and urban farms.• Collaborated with Widuz Pte Ltd to develop a pavilion project piloting the use of Bamboo Veneer Lumber (BVL) as replacement for steel and concrete for the building’s structures. Brought together partners including Building Construction Authority (BCA) and fire department of Singapore to develope a road map for establishing building codes to enable market adoption of the material.• Developed an on-demand intra-gardens logistics and people mover system consisting of electric and autonomous vehicles to enable business operations and public access to garden attractions.• Adopted the use of novel construction materials that incorporates recycled materials including plastics and rubber from discarded shoes as paving materials Show less
