  Primarily focused on mitigation and rebuilding of Flying W Ranch after the Waldo Canyon Fire destroyed a massive amount of the 1300 acre establishment, including the entire ranch and 346 homes within the neighboring community of Mountain Shadows.Facilitated and managed mitigation and restoration work, including installing log erosion control structures to stabilize hill slopes and drainages prone to flood events, planting seed and spreading mulch over acres of burned terrain, planting saplings to jumpstart the restoration of the forest, removing noxious weeds, and mastication of burned tree stands.Interviewed, hired, supervised, trained, evaluated and discharged hundreds of employees and volunteers as necessary.Served as the direct point of contact for city, state and federal officials to generate funding for post-fire reclamation work.
