  As a summer intern for the WV Healthy Kids & Families Coalition, I acted as the Outreach and Registration Coordinator for four Policy Workshops across the state of WV, each designed to produce civic engagement regarding grassroots policy proposals, voter empowerment, policy advocacy, and Try This! Evaluated the extent to which concrete policy outcomes came about in response to a change in policy makers' attitudes toward safe pedestrian walkability in their jurisdictions.Duties included:-- Outreach to various government entities-- Coordination/Navigation between government entities in search of relevant data-- Researching relevant data and determining qualifying policy outcomes-- Recording relevant data in Excel spreadsheets and communicating these findingsThis Campaign Impact Assessment was a follow-up study to the study archived in the American Journal of Health Promotion's article, 'Changing the Hearts and Minds of Policy Makers: An Exploratory Study Associated With the West Virginia Walks Campaign.'
