My core responsibility was to improve supplier quality structure in order to meet future growth targets of Atlas Battery.My job responsibilities includes:1. Responsible for implementing quality control system at vendor’s end through improvement programs for better parts management at ABL incoming inspection.2. Apply Statistical Process Controls to monitor the progress of incoming parts quality.3. Issue part trouble report to vendor when any discrepancy / quality defect found in the supply and for countermeasure by the vendors on immediate basis.4. Train and follow-up with vendors to effectively execute part trouble report.5. Train vendor to take corrective actions / preventive actions where necessary.6. Train and follow-up with the vendors to use the Statistical Process Control tools to help them reduce their process rejections.7. Carry out vendor’s PSV’s (problem solving visits) in case of major part defect found during incoming inspection.8. Perform Vendor Quality Audit as per schedule.9.
