  Substitute military service, an alternative to compulsory military service in Taiwan, offers individuals the opportunity to work for the government and contribute to society. By participating in this program, I had the chance to work in an incineration plant and assist public servants in handling administrative general affairs. Through my experience at the plant, I gained a better understanding of the incineration process and facilities.

Main responsibilities:• Liaised between environmental agency and companies; provided efficient communication and comprehensive explanation of regulations to ensure smooth operations. • Reviewed, approved and managed environmental permits, industrial waste recycling programs of manufacturers, and greenhouse gas inventory in the Science Park.• Managed the operation of the a 80-ton/day incineration plant in the Science Park• Represented bureau in policy-making meetings on waste recycling and circular economy.
