As an intern pharmacist I worked in a range of areas from dispensing to aseptic manufacturing. I also wrote and directed 'Living with Warfarin', a short patient education video to enhance the safety of this high-risk medication. This was implemented at several West Australian hospitals and also adapted by Sydney's North Shore Hospital. A follow-up evaluation that I conducted was presented at a major national pharmacy conference in 2011. The video was also recognised with an award from the Australian Institute of Biological and Medical Illustration. - Show less
