  I worked under Dr Carlton Pennypacker, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. During my timethere I helped develop a simulation of a new propulsion system in order to help show off it'seffectiveness. Much of the work was done, however I had to work through the code that was alreadythere in terms of simulation and change it to become interact-able. In essence I had to modify the basecode significantly to be affected by the browser based simulation. From here I also made it predictwhere the target would go and create more possible effects of the motion. Show less

  I worked with the FUEGO research group, under Carlton Pennypacker as my research advisor, on the fire detection satellite project. I wrote software for image realignment, cloud detection, machine learning algorithms, and SNR projections for the satellite. I also contributed to the specifications of the pathfinder satellite and used AWS to collect GOES Satellite L1b data for analysis.

  Researcher on the FUEGO Project, working on thermal image processing, turning them into geolocated Tiff files, as well as comparing these high altitude images to satellite images in order to create accurate models of fire simulation as seen from orbit.
