  • Supervised 16 x 1 bedroom flats let to 16-25 year olds with a history of rough sleeping. Managed rental income to ensure all residents had a care plan, handled evictions and tenancy breaches and organised meetings with statutory / voluntary organisations. Actions ensured compliance with company and legal requirements.• Implemented team management that carried out key worker support and design of individual support plans. This enabled young people to maintain own tenancies and manage necessities such as budgeting, bills, benefits and shopping, in addition to addressing health, accessing employment and education or training as appropriate.• Liaised with social services and health care professionals to ensure support plans were relevant and continuous. This ensured their physical and mental wellbeing were addressed in terms of access to medication and methadone and make certain income was maintained.• Prepared staff rota’s and provided on call cover. Took into account holidays and absence, which ensured that residents had site support at all times.• Accounted for and maximised rental income by liaison with Housing Benefit and DWP departments. Show less Resettlement Team Leader • After obtaining funding from the National Lottery I recruited a team of 6 paid workers and 5 volunteers who supported almost 100 young people in Brighton and Hove to maintain their tenancies in the private sector. Resettlement Worker• Assisted young people establish their tenancies, provided advice and support on budgeting, bills, accessing employment, training and education, help with benefits.Residential Housing Support Worker • Following university and a number of temporary roles I volunteered with Hove YMCA and after a period of three months was appointed to this permanent role.   Team Leadership• Managing a team of 8, accountable for letting 20,000 homes of mixed tenures liaising with 38 Local Authority Partners, ensuring smooth processes in line with guidelines / expectations. Actions minimised allocation decision challenges and ensured all nominations were fair and transparent, which offered clarity to those within the service.• Managed budgets of c.£150 000, liaising with partner local authorities over Policy and Local Lettings Plans for new build schemes.
