  Post doc position at Lund University, Sweden. I was working in the Chemical Physics Department, headed by Prof. Villy Sundstrøm. My research project was an investigation of charge carrier dynamics in photovoltaic polymers. The project involved a broad range of ultrafast time resolved spectroscopic techniques like femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy.

  R&D within ultrafast fiber lasers and Supercontinuum lasers. My work was focusing on fiber-based mode-locked oscillators for seeding fiber amplifiers and nonlinear photonic crystal fibers in supercontinuum laser systems. My work also included a study of photonic bandgab fibers for dispersion management in mode-locked oscillators and for pulse compression. My position was at NKT Research & Innovation, which together with Crystal Fibre and Koheras was the foundation for NKT Photonics.

  R&D wihtin optical fibers for telecommunication, fiber optic gyroscopes, fiber based sensors, and ultrafast fiber lasers. I was working in the Incubation Center located in Broendby, Denmark, exploring new business opportunities within fiber optics. During my work I gained experience in optical fiber design, optical fiber characterization, and applications of optical fibers. I worked with a wide range of fibers and fiber technologies including fibers for dispersion managment, higher order mode fibers, mode conversion using long period gratings, double clad gain fibers, ultra low bendloss fibers, and polarization maintaining fibers. Highlighted projects:- HOM fibers for dispersion compensation in mode-locked fiber oscillators and femtosecond pulse fiber delivery. - Dispersion managed fiber modules for pulse stretching in chirped pulse amplification.My position was focusing on R&D, project management, IP protection, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
