    • Cepac Darlington

      Jun 2008 - now

Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, I inspire my teams by providing them with the training and skills matrix they need, whilst clearly communicating what’s expected of them on a daily basis. At the same time, I report to management utilising dashboard presentations and attend a host of meetings as the cross-department liaison. The above, coupled with instituting SOPS and SSOWs, has cultivated a cohesive environment where KPIs, production targets and customer expectations are achieved. To further maximise production and mitigate injuries, I conduct risk assessments and ensure all H&S, quality and environmental standards are strictly adhered to. When it comes to my employees, I track their performance and actively address behavioural and attendance issues for a team of 20 direct staff members and 76 operators across three shifts. Simultaneously, I strive to minimise downtime by performing tool preventative maintenance (TPM), executing plans of action and implementing manning structures.Snapshot of Achievements: Organise customer trials, further optimising finished products and reducing costs, whilst removing waste, leading to a boost in productivity, value and customer satisfaction. Deliver continuous improvements and promote lean manufacturing operations by deploying widely adopted manufacturing methodologies and associated tools. Provide consistent and high quality customer service by leading complaint investigations and determining root cause analysis of subsequent issues.Cepac Darlington is a leading corrugate packaging company in the UK known for providing state-of-the-art alternatives by utilising innovative and specialty developed technology.
