  In the course of this internship, I studied suicide gene therapy in oral cancer. Thereby, I gained more experience with creating vectors, PCR, gel-electrophoresis and the use of restriction enzymes.

  SENIOR INTERNSHIP in the morphology group

  During this 8 month internship, I studied the effect of the blood platelet concentrate, Leukocyte and Platelet Rich Fibrin, on peripheral nerve damage. Hereby, I performed many histological staining and immunostaining; came into contact with several microscopy techniques like confocal microscopy, SEM and TEM. Furthermore, I also isolated primary dorsal root ganglion cell cultures, and had the opportunity to do some in vivo work
