  Responsible for user and network support of PC based network. Installation of Microsoft Windows XP Professional using TCP/IP protocol carried out on 300 machines. Provide software and hardware support to students and staff.Install and upgrade computers on the curriculum and admin network.Carry out repairs to computer equipment or liaise with external companies for repair that cannot be carried out by school staff.Hardware support occasionally needed, from memory upgrades to complete overhaul and rebuild. On call through out working day, often had to solve problems quickly so a teacher could continue to present a lesson without to much disruption.
