  KSB Pump ltd, Sinnar from January 2017,As a Purchase Trainee Engineer. Costing and procurement of direct bought out material which includes machined components, sheet metal component, insulating material, liquid sealing gaskets ,shaft keys, copper washer & pump press part standard & nonstandard Stainless Steel Carbon Fasteners, special class studs, pipe fitting plug, pipe unions, traded pumps part etc. also assisting the other bought out commodities.  Controlling the Product purchase activities worth of Rs. 40 million apox. Yearly  Coordinating with product management dept. for designing efficient and cheaper product.  Sending RFQ’s, getting quotations, evaluation of quotations with technical specifications, execution of comparative statements and final negotiation.  Coordinating the new development activity from Selection & Evaluation of new vendors (as per ISO/ EMS Procedure), Rate Settlement and sample approval to regular production batch.  Coordinating daily purchase activity such as issuing PO’s, PR to PO conversation settlement of Price Increase & Reduction proposal.  ABC Analysis (Cost based), ABC Matrix (Quality based). Coordination with internal customers for better inventory control ,Monitoring monthly OTD of supplier & Quarterly SQIP for vendor rating & CAPA.  Worked on project Sheet metal pumps, out souring of pump thrust bearing, alternate supplier development for existing pumps sheet metal component, development of PTFE & Graphite Gasket, development of thrust bearing segments(investment casting).
