Delivered the firm’s most important legislative result for its asset management clients. After successfully completing my traineeship, I gained a full-time position in the financial services regulation team. Namely, asset management, banking and EU/international taxation. My role required me to work in a high pace environment, liaise directly with clients, prepare client briefs, analyse regulation, and public sector stakeholder engagement. Following graduation, I gained a traineeship at a leading Brussels public affairs consultancy in the financial services team. My responsibilities largely focussed on media and political monitoring for various financial services clients. The move to Brussels allowed me to further my understanding of the European Union's institutions and policymaking process in a practical setting.
