      Responsible for managing the contract and delivery of purchased port cranes. Responsible for managing overall budget, control costs and responsible to ensure the project meet the financial objectives. I also assessing potential variation and determine the cost. Managing contractor construction program inclusive of project timeline, deliverables and proposed plant and labor. Evaluate and Process claims and measurement on the Contractor milestone claims. Evaluate and measure work variation. Facilitate final check to meet design and specification requirements with Maintenance. Supervise and monitor fabrication process with manufacturer and Third Party Inspector according the agreed design and specifications. Manage, plan and execute commissioning process with Third Party Inspectors and Maintenance, which includes visual check, functionality, and endurance test as well as DOSH approval. Facilitate hand-over process to Operations/ end users inclusive of maintenance manual, training and warranty service. Liaise with equipment suppliers on outstanding warranty issues and provide solutions based on experience to solve these issues. In February 2009, I was transferred to the Planning Department due to completion of projects. My job scope is to assist the Senior Manager in all matter relating to the planning, management and monitoring; in particular future development of Port Tanjung Pelepas. I also responsible to process and monitor interim payment claims and assist Senior Manager on claim submissions. Reviewing, studying and activating planned project including projects on the PDE and Port Master Plan. Secure approval for every project needs and planning for financial budget allocation. Create new project module under ERP (Project Module) and prepare Purchasing Requisition (Procurement Module) for every projects conducted. Show less

      I am responsible for managing contract and project monitoring for the Proposed Development of Petrochemical and Maritime Hub Industries at Tanjung Bin, Johor, Malaysia. I in-charge of the Master Plan progress and work program to ensure all the project deliverables is meet with the customer requirement and needs. I responsible in reviewing, studying and activating planned project as approved in the Master Plan. I also study methodology and result carried out by consultants. Liaise with other Departments, consultants and Government authorities to assist in resolving interface matters and approvals. I also studying the future technology that may implement in these new terminal such Green Building concept and responsible to tie up all the government policies, society concern and environment impact in to the development. I also involved in the process to award the project to the contractors by analyse their technical knowledge and competencies to assist the top management in order to making a decision. In January 2011, due to project completion I was transfer to Engineering Department as Head of Authority Liaison, Procurement & Planning Section. I assist the Senior Manager in all matter relating to the planning, management and monitoring; in particular future development of ATT Tanjung Bin Sdn Bhd. I also responsible to process and monitor interim payment claims and assist Senior Manager on claim submissions. Reviewing, studying and activating planned project including projects on the PDE. Monitor and review program and progress of the consultant engaged. Liaise with other Departments, consultants and Government authorities to assist in resolving interface matters and approvals. Accumulate all data require for study conducted by consultants. Study on requirements to start any projects and mitigate any possible project risk.       During my services, I have successfully deliver a Petronas contract worth RM 10 million which consist of piping works fabrication and erection also mechanical installation and heavy lifting at PETRONAS Sabah Ammonia Urea Refinery (SAMUR) project. This 18 months contract is now completed and targeted to be full operated on third quarter this year upon completion of testing and commissioning. My dedicated team has successful completed all the task as per given schedule and bring almost 22.5% profits (after tax) in this project. During this project I am responsible to prepare all financial report and the summaries of profit and loss report for the directors views. I also responsible to compile all the work progress submitted by the project superintendent and analysis the data to produce the "S Curve" graph. This kind of assessment also help PETRONAS to tracking their overall project progress. As a Director, I also responsible to ensure all stakeholders know their own task clearly before proceed to the work assignment given. I monitor closely project work program and identified any obstacle which might disturb project progress. Risk assessment on case basis is also conducted to identified any problem impacted to the project progress and finance. I also review closely project progress and held a meeting with all related parties to ensure the project meet the forecast project milestone. I always meet with local authority to get their concern on our project activities to ensure it was going on a correct ways. I also meet with client and consultant to discuss on the project progress, activities and always look a better way to enhance work methodology and expedite the project progress. As a management level officer lead this project, I also demonstrate all safety measures as per Safety and Health act. “Safety First” is the slogan to be bear in mind of my entire subordinate during execution of this project.
