Implementando a política de investigação científica que deve estar orientada para os objectivos gerais da instituição, respeitando os respectivos princípios e sintonizada com as grandes opções do Plano do Governo, prioridades sectoriais definidas a nível nacional e provincial, numa lógica de apoio ao desenvolvimento e promoção bem-estar universal.   Two years as founder dean of FCSH – UniLúrio the first higher education institution ever in the Ilha de Moçambique a city that accomplished 200 years this year and that was the first capital city of Mozambique. Providing presently two course degrees – Tourism and Hospitality & Local Development and International Relations – an overall number of 220 students finishing the second year of their studies it´s a great feeling to had started a project that for sure will change forever this classified city by UNESCO as World Heritage. Leaving this task to come back to the rectory and coordinate a bigger UniLúrio´s project to impact all the university to support skill development on agriculture and industry is also a big challenge but not will not replace FCSH from my best memories. I'm moving foreward and hoping to ear good news from this faculty in the future. Exibir menos

  1 IntroductionBy strengthening UniLúrio’s training and applied research capacity in agriculture and industry the project will contribute to the development of the skilled labour force needed to enhance the country’s productivity. UniLúrio’s agriculture and industry related programmes focus on forestry, rural development and zootechny as well as computer, civil, mechanical and geological engineering. The project will support UniLúrio by (i) improving the quality and relevance of training; (ii) strengthening employability and entrepreneurship, (iii) improving equitable access at the university, thus contributing to improving the situation in the national higher education system; and (iv) strengthening strategic planning and management. 2 General scope of the assignmentThe Project Coordinator will be responsible for project implementation and coordination, ensuring that the execution will be realized according to the conditions of the Loan and Grant agreements and based on the Project Appraisal Report. Managing Human, financial and material resources of the Project and ensuring that all procedures and the policies are accordingly implemented and that all the Project activities are completed on timely fashion that represents the views of key stakeholders. He is the supervisor of PIU and will act as the secretariat of the Steering Committee under supervision of the Lúrio University Rector. Exibir menos
