Undertaking duties as the Chief and Senior Mountain Warfare Instructor of the base, responsible for the development and progression of all US Mountain Warfare Combat Instructors across Rock, Alpine, Snow, Ski & Avalanche modules.As the Senior/Chief Instructor of the Mountain Warfare Training Centre I was responsible for the development of all Programmes of Instruction pertinent to the afore mentioned progressions, ensuring that all high risk training events were ran safely in accordance with the current Training Centre Order.Also employed as the Officer in Charge of all Research & Development for mountain and cold weather clothing and equipment for MCMWTC, dealing directly with outside agencies and manufacturers in order to identify current and future requirements for testing and evaluation.Awarded the United States Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal on completion of tour.
