Served for five years as Nuclear Unit Supervisor and Shift Technical Advisor. Applied technical, regulatory, and operational knowledge \ maintaining a Senior Reactor Operator license to supervise Unit 1 personnel. Interacted with other site groups to provide safe and consistent plant operations. Trained, developed and supervised personnel. Began with organization as a Nuclear System Engineer. Monitored, evaluated and improved component and system performance by initiating appropriate predictive maintenance and corrective measures. Improved system function by developing design modifications driving implementation. Closely interacted with upper management and plant operations to troubleshoot component issues and develop actions to restore component and system function. At a time when Operations Department was facing human performance issues, led a team and stayed significant event free from 2013 to 2015. Implemented design changes to improve multiple plant systems. Redesigned plant liquid waste system to improve efficiency and capacity on a high value project. Led multiple plant start-ups from forced and planned outages. Primary person responsible for oversight and directing the Operations crews on starting up the plant systems, syncing to the grid electrically and raising power generation output to 100%. Obtained a Senior Reactor Operator's License and advanced to Shift Manager Position. Mentor to several peers working towards obtaining a Reactor Operator License.
