Yoga teachers assist their students accomplish this connection by leading them through a class or session comprised of physical exercises, breathing work and mental focus. Sequencing is designed to gradually warm up the body, building in intensity as the poses progress from simpler to more complex movements. Classes usually end with Savasana, or corpse pose, where students lie on their backs on their mat in deep relaxation.Safe yoga session means performing the poses in proper alignment. The yoga teacher calls out instructions, will usually walk around class and use hands-on adjustments to help the students move their bodies into the right placement. Teachers are not able to adjust every student in each pose, will provide verbal cues throughout the class. The verbal cues help students to adjust their own bodies.
