      Currently have 9 years here at Nexteer Automotive. I just transitioned to Senior Advanced Quality Engineer in outside processing, assembly, harnesses, and bulk material. Previously I was as a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer. My responsibilities had been to support bearings, plastics, resins, and ductile iron casting commodities. Travel has been extensive due to the challenges suppliers have had to produce 100% zero defects. Through problem solving and numerous on-site visits over 50% of the suppliers have been removed from our Top Focus Supplier system. I am the primary contact for these strategic suppliers quality system to be maintained and developed. The problem solving skills we use at Nexteer have identified many gaps and eliminated customer complaints and repeat defects. Show less
